He completed a specialization course in Periodontics at the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Paulista dos Cirurgi\u00f5es-Dentistas (APCD), Bauru\/SP, Brazil in 1991. In 2005, he earned a specialization and Master of Science degree in Prosthesis from the CPO SLMandic \u2013 Center of Dental Research S\u00e3o Leopoldo Mandic in Campinas\/SP, Brazil. He later obtained his PhD in Implantology from the same institution in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. da Rosa is the developer of the Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration (IDR) technique and author of the book Immediate Dentoalveolar Restoration \u2013 Immediately Loaded Implants in Compromised Sockets, published by Quintessence Publishing. He has published over 30 referenced articles and book chapters on the IDR technique and serves on the editorial boards of several journals. As an international speaker, he has presented at congresses in more than 60 countries.
